Waterproof Expeditions specialises in photography, diving, snorkelling, and cruise experiences. We designed the leaping dolphin/seal to complement the company's heritage, which we had to fuse with their strong partner brand association with the Swedish clothing manufacturer.<br /><br />We also established a colour palette system to allow them to create sub-categories of specialism (Snorkel, Cruise & Photo Expeditions). The result is a fresh new fun brand ID, to enable the client to move forward in a rapidly expanding portfolio of products. A launch brand created to complement a new generation of electronically assisted bicycles.<br /><br />Our remit was to create a fun, elegant and stylish brand through typography, colourways and the subtle use of the + symbol; our graphical approach reflected the product’s high precision engineering and aspirational positioning in this specialist marketplace. The founders chose True Traveller name carefully because amongst its many meanings true stands for real, genuine, sincere, reliable and unfailing, the very values that underpin the new company and their service philosophy.<br /><br />In creating the ID, we kept these stated values and philosophy to the fore at all times, whilst also creating a premium looking brand that would have classical travel associations. A specialist tour operator offering bespoke tailor-made and organised trips to the Baltics, we wanted to create an elegant, classical font reflecting the destinations heritage; but add a twist of cool urban chic reflecting the destination of today. A new brand ID was requested for the launch of Environmental Communications TV. An environmental news hub designed to provide the latest in environmental news in the form of video, audio, print and images for use by the media and other interested industry groups.
