MS Island Sky gets a new look
Noble Caledonia’s MS Island Sky is one of the worlds' finest small touring ships. Presently undergoing a comprehensive major refurbishment, she is set to be relaunched in the Spring of 2011 touring the Mediterranean, North Africa, Adriatic and the British Isles. The traditional features of wood panelling and brass fixtures are to remain, but these will now be shown to full effect with contemporary furniture, the use of luxurious fabrics and the modern conveniences to communicate in the 21st century.
A newly refurbished ship naturally required newly refurbished marketing collateral including a brochure, and Nobel Caledonia commissioned Wild Dog Design to create a complete new look to show case the relaunch. Sophisticated imagery with an elegant clean design, plus a splash of silver creates the perfect taster for this much loved beautiful and newly refurbished ship.
The marketing programme starts with a 20-page preview brochure, whilst the main 64-page brochure is currently being finalised as the vessels maiden voyage itineraries are finalised. Wild Dog Design have also been commissioned to design the new ship's brand and identity to be launched later in the year.
